    Custody battle
I am a mother of three from a previous marriage, went through the divorce- with him the primary me with custody and child support, he hasn't been providing a stable safe environment for the children, which they were temporarily placed in my care(by DFS) while the investigation has been going on, while I had the children in care, my 15 year old snuck out of the house with the six year old to meet up with their dad, and its now been over 3 weeks since I have seen them, at which one point my 15 year old calls me up and tells me to drop the full custody that she and the six year old has decided to live with the dad, I told her its not her decision, that it will be the courts decision of which home will be more stable for them, he doesn't have a roof over their heads, a job, been keeping the children in hiding to when it comes my visitation, no where to be found. I have court in the morning and I am afraid that my 15 year old is going to lie about everything and say she doesn't want to live with me, do I just lay myself down again and allow this man to have control over everything, do I Have any chance of the judge awarding me the Full custody?

Of course not! You stand up and fight for your flesh and blood! It sounds like your ex and your children know just what to say and do to get you to back down. That's sad. Stand up for yourself and what you know is right for your children.

Your ex could (should) be charged with harboring a minor run-a-way or possibly kidnapping, which is a SERIOUS offense. Do you have a lawyer or at least tell a lawyer about this? Why was this tolerated? You should have reported this to the police the INSTANT you realized your kids were missing! He is manipulating them and using his own children to manipulate and bully YOU. Children who are 15 and 6 do not understand what's really going on with these situations. A judge will make the decision and see right through any lies your 15 yr old may tell. Any good judge will leave them with the best home, regardless of what she has to say.
