I drew a fairly detailed drawing of the slab that I wanted, with the piers (flagpole support piers, with pipes down to put poles into) shown so they could do it all in one pour. Well, I guess our general contractor cannot read the drawings because all I got were the piers with the metal in them. My question is... can I pour a 4: slab over the top of these piers that will not crack. I think I know the answer (NO) but I would like to get some opinions. They are about 9' apart, in a triangle shape. I need to do this to put the "memorial" bricks that people bought to pay for this screwed up mess. Any help will be appreciated.

Ronnie, Don't go andget all upset ,things are going to be o>k. I!ve poured concrete over the top of piers. Since back in the good old days 9 1950!s Although they had rebar stubbed up out of them. Now you can take some #5 rebar, drill you some holes in each pier { 4 each pier, sticking out of concrete about 2", lay rebar horz. tied to ones stick pu extend each side past outside edge of pier about 12 to 18"} pour concrete, use the wire mesh for concrete, or use the fiberious concerte.
