I am starting a small construction Company. If I am the sole propieter with no employees, but sub out some work. How much should I expect to pay for liability insurance

You should have all sub contractors provide you copies of not only Their liablitly insurance ( since if they don't have it, guess who else gets sued if they damage something) but always make the sub contractors also provide copies of their workers comp insurance on their workers.

The area you are in, the exact type of construction you will be doing all makes a difference. I would shop it around to at least 3 brokers.

    Very true answer above!

With my business, I went to a real estate office that also provides insurance. They have many carriers to choose from for the insurance.
