You might want to just strike up a conversation with him and see what he says and what you think. Just because he is cute, it doesn't mean that he is the kind of person you might want to hang around with. I would suggest trying to get to know him and about him some first before approaching him about doing anything together.

Get to know him first. Be friends with him just because he is cute does not mean that he is the best person inside. I know a lot of cute guys and they are jerks in the inside. Get to know the person first don't get to know him just because he is cute.
