GE front loader loud on spin cycle
Talk about planned obsolesence! My GE dryer that I bought in late in 01' fried the rear drum bearing and now it's partner, the front loader washing machine is starting to get loud while in spin cycle. Both units are about 6 months out of warranty. Coincidence?? I think not. Anyway, Applguy gave great advice on fixing the dryer... maybe someone can help with the washer. It still functions fine, seems to get up to speed OK, but is starting to sound rough - the dry bearing sound while in spin. It used to be so quiet. Now we can hear it upstairs. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!
