It all depends on where you live as to whether it is legal. But I don't see a problem with an 18 year old dating a 17 year old.

Now, if you want to "hook up" make sure you use protection AND make sure you are ready for parenthood as no method of birth control is 100% effective.

Personally I don't see this as a problem, but your employer might. If you have an employee handbook I would look there. If not, I would ask someone in a position of authority.
