Why did the framers provide for amendmnet of the Constitution ?

I would imagine the original planners knew that nothing was made in a void and perhaps down the road, changes would need to be made or considered. The Framers of the Constitution believed that there are additional fundamental rights. So we have amendments.

Technically, the Original Framers of the Constitution knew that the issues that they were dealing with in those times, were not going to be the same issues many years down the road. Thus, they allowed for amendments to handle the changes in the times and to make the adjustments, as they were necessary. Conservatives believe in reading the Constitution as the Original Framers intended, (Original Intent) and that we should not read between the lines or make any new assumptions. HOWEVER, Liberals recognize that it is impossible to really know what the original intent of the framers was, and to decide how the Constitution should be interpreted based on that, is often out of touch with today's issues and thus, cannot be determined solely in that manner.

Alexander Hamilton in Federalist Papers # 85 explained that the amendment process would be easier by considering a single proposition then rewriting a whole new Constitution because only 2/3 of the states would have to ratify amendments .

Hamilton says that[he]" never hope to see a perfect work for imperfect men."He quotes David Hume in his explanation :

What that tells us is that the original intent of the founders was for the Constitution to be amended from time to time . What you are referring to is the conservative view of judicial review .That is a different subject .Originalist believe that the judiciary;especially SCOTUS should try to decide constitutional issues of law by the intent of the founders /or the amendment that applies. They oppose judicial activism ;a tendency by judges to consider outcomes, attitudinal preferences, and other public policy issues in interpreting applicable existing law. They prefer judicial restraint.

Guys, I know we all like to show off our knowledge, but this is really a case where the answer is so obvious, that the OP should be left to figure it out for himslef. We don't want to do people's homework for them.
