I am trying to remove the electric clutch from a troybilt lwan tractor. I can't get it off. Do I need a gear puller or shoulld it drop off when center bolt is removed

The best thing to do is remove the bolt from the center, and spray with something like "PB BLASTER", allow it to soak in and then try and pull it off, remember to disconnect the wires from the clutch and while we are discussing the clutch , why are you removing it? What problems are you having?
