Ok there was actually 2 movies.

1) some kids were help up in something like a prison maybe an orphonige and there is like 3 or 4 of them that break out in the middle of the night and run away... thats all I really remember about it

2) OK this one I believe may have something to do with remote control cars or planes. I remember the kids are in a house that has been built but hasn't sold and its in a new neighborhood and these bad guys come in the house and the kids get trapped in their with them. I also remember there were like sensors under the carpet and you couldn't step on the or the alarm would go off so the bad guys had tape marking the sensors or something... im thinking maybe the kids were kidnapped and they hid out in the house.

If this helps I am 23 now and I watched these in day care probably about 15 years ago maybe I don't know.

Haha naaa... I had a feeling someone would say that. This movie was like a low budget film not really out in theaters I don't think just a cheap film we could watch at daycare

The second movie I figured out was the movie remote came out in 93... so the first would be around the same time I think

Your second movie is the aptly-named Remote from 1993. I don't know what the hell the semi-respected John Diehl was doing in it. Anyway, the imdb.com plot summary reads: "Home Alone clone about a 13-year-old boy, obsessed with making remote controlled toys, decides to put them to use when he's trapped in a vacant model suburban house with three moronic prison escapees whom he proceeds to make mincemeat out of them."

The second one sounds like remote, which purukivel already pointed out, but I used to watch that movie a lot haha

The first movie could be 'Courage Mountain' It's a Heidi sequel with charlie sheen.
