    Getting rid of a beard
Ok, simply put, I hate shaving. I usually ave to shave at least once a week. I am really getting tired of having to shave so often. Now, does anyone know of any product preferably OTC that will STOP or seriously slow down the growth?

If you have to shave only once a week, then I think that you are fortunate. I have to shave everyday. But, I suppose it depends on how you want to look between shaves.

You might want to take a look at some of the sites in the following search. I may be incorrect, but it would seem that there might be ways to retard beard growth. I don't know that there is a way other then by having plastic surgery to get rid of the growth altogether.

I agree with Clough, how old are you... most of us have to shave every day by the time we are in our 20's.

You could use an Epilator on your beard. This is a type of ladies shaver that rips the hair out by the roots. It would be painful at first, but after you got used to it, it would take the hair a lot longer to grow back.
