Missed period, tender breasts, but negative pregnancy test
I'm 20 years old and I have been trying to get pregnant for about a year. Well I missed my period for this month of September and I started getting tender breasts, they are also feeling swollen, and morning sickness, but mostly I have been getting sick at night time. When I took a pregnancy it came out negative... should I go with the results of this pregnancy test or should I get a blood test to make sure that I'm not really pregnant??

I think you should go to your doctor they can tell you exactly if you are or not.

Your HcG may not be high enough to register on a HPT yet.

It doubles every two days. I would call and set an appt with your doctor to get a blood test, and in the meantime, wait 2-4 days since you took the last HPT and take another.

    Good luck :)

First, how late were you when you took the test? You may want to take another test, then go in to the docs for a blood test. If you don't want to waste the time or money testing at home again, just go in for a blood test. Most women won't get an accurate result on a hpt until 10 day late or more. Some never show on an hpt.
