So I found a lump in between pubic region and upper leg. It's sort of painful to the touch and about the size of a medium sized purple grape (the green ones are bigger). I found this on 9/9/07. The same time I notice, what I thought/think, are two pimples on my pubic region. I have been a little stressed in my head lately and am not sure if it's possible a reaction the stress.? I am sexually active.

Could be an insect bite or ingrown hair or sebaceous cyst or just a boil or sore trying to come to a head. Younger folks get a fair amount of these things, especially if the sore is in an area of high contact with clothing folds.
I don't think it's a lymph gland though you have a bunch of them in that general region.
Sounds more like a boil, especially since it's summertime with the dirt and sweat deal going on. If so, it should naturally come to a head and drain soon. Take particular care to keep the area clean and bandaged to keep the boil from spreading.
You can help the process along by using wet compresses - really a face cloth dipped in hot water and put on the area to bring more blood to the area - for 10 minute periods whenever you've a mind to do it - the more the better. Little late for ointment now but when it starts to drain, that'd be a good time to use it on the bandage and to spread ointment around the surrounding area as well.

Wash self and clothing more often and you'll be okay.
