And my dad thinks that I can get thrown in juvie for just dating her is that true? I live in Florida and I don't know the law down here... And I'm not going to have Sex with her or anything... but I have kissed her can I get in trouble and my dad knows I have kissed her he is just saying that I can get arrested... I don't understand!! I mean in a few months I will be 15 and she will still be 12... can I get in trouble with the law?
I would say no I don't think you can from the government, but I'm sure your dad will be mad.
Ive kissed someone before when I was 12 and our parents new and didn't mind. But we were both the same age.

I can't find any sites about any laws for just dating. I saw some that said it would be all right but it is just another site like this. You can always email the local police or something or call them (Not the emergency number).
Actually there are many laws beyond having sex. Contibuting to the dliquency of a minor for one, and if your dad says not to date her and you do anyway, the courts could find you deliquent for not following your dads inspections if you dad turns you in.
And to be honest 12 is a child and has no business dating anyone.
