Something happened to my PC a few days ago... now I can't open my internet explorer and everything that uses IE like My computer, Windows explorer etc etc... would not open and they crash my computer... There is a small box that pops up occasionally that says that there is a problem with internet explorer and will need to reboot my computer if it continues... but I did that and it still doesn't work...

Could try installing the operating system again or even just internet explorer :)

You say "Something" but you don't say what something is... please take us out of the suspence, any way you say that explorer crashes when opening. Well if you didn't know Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer are one and the same (this was a VERY bad idea by microsot to make IE and WE the same, this is what leads to a lot of IE's insecuritys), yes that's right IE and WE are the same thing (if you say they arnt I'll beat you) so well hmm... sound like explorer.exe has become corrpt/damaged or you'v got a virus that replaces explorer.exe but the virus is on the wrong OS so for exampel say your running win98 if a virsu that was meant for XP replaced your 98 explorer.exe with a xp explorer.exe it's not surprising it won't load. Plez tells us more about your problem...

What is your windows operating system, like XP, 98, etc?
If you have XP, here are steps to re-install Internet Explorer.
I would try this first, re-installing IE.

This link explains how to re-install IE.
Please post back if this does not solve your problem.
The next thing to look at would be Spyware possibly.
