    Flange height
I recently installed a new tile floor in a powder room and now the closet flange is level with the finished floor. I am finding conflicting information on whether this is acceptable or not. I have heard that adding an additional wax ring might be O.K. but this is an upstairs bonus room bath and it gets really hot up there! Is it O.K. to install the new toilet on the level flange or do I need to add spacers?

Even if the flange is a 1/4" under the floor line the toilet will set OK. You're good to go with a single wax seal on the floor level flange. Good luck, Tom
