Hello... I'm wondering why our toilet bowl no longer fills with water... the tank is full, but the bowl only fills about 1/3 of the way. Flushing is fine, it's just that there isn't much water to swirl around when flushed.
Any ideas?

The fill valve has a refill tube which pours water into the overflow tube in the tank, this is where the bowl is refilled.
This tube would be #5 on the image I've put up. The tube runs from the top of the ballcock to the white overflow tube and must bhe connected for the bowl to fill completely. Regards, TomQuote:

Good to know Hm2007! I wondered why you were pulling up all these old threads! Hopefully, "the powers that be" will see this and take note...
Thanks!

I have actually discussed this with administration and they believe that everyone deserves an answer to their questions(?). I think they just don't want to pay someone to write the algorithm to delete questions that are more than 1 year old. All I can say is they must have unlimited storage space!!
