I am interested in converting a bedroom into a bathroom. The house is a single story on a concrete slab. The room in question does not adjoin the exising bathroom or other plumbing, which is in a central core of the house. We have a septic tank. How expensive are we talking here? :o

I am afraid it could be expensive. A bathroom group needs water supply lines, a drain, and a vent. If you back everything up against an interior wall, you could run a new vent up to the roof, but I see no alternative to cutting the floor to run the supply lines and drain.
