    a/c keeps breaking
    6 weeks ago the fuse blew in a/h up in attic then 2 weeks ago the a/c went out again... called a/c company and said the transforner (? ) in a/h was bad and they replaced it. Well it went out AGAIN TODAY... just 2 weeks later... I have NEVER had a problem with this unit and was brand new 2 1/2 years ago... now has gone out 3 times in 6 weeks.. any suggestions... HELP PLEASE!! :mad:

    Component failures IE part failures are known to happen from time to time. If the fuse problem you had was with the 24 volt transformer line then if the transformer,fuse or anything to do with the 24 volt control circuit should been checked for drawing too much curent. Especially if the problem you are having now has to do with the low voltage system again.

    You probably have a short in your wire going to your outside unit
