    WeedEater FeatherLite Fuel Issue
I have a WeedEater Feather Lite trimmer that has never given me any problems in 10+ years of use until today. The return fuel line tube broke and was leaking gas from the hole for the tube in the top of the tank. I replaced the tube with $0.80 worth of plastic tubing. After getting everything back together it will not start. It acts like it is not getting any fuel.

Is it correct that the shorter of the two lines is just a return line?

Has anyone else experienced this issue? What was the solution?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Yes it is the return line. Check to see if there may be a small partical of the old line in the inlet blocking the fuel flow.

I am having the same problem. Where did you go to purchase a replacement tube?

At a small engine shop, you should be able to purchase the fuel line you need for less than $1.00 per foot.
