    Are you serious? :)

It's water, H2O, dihydrogen-monoxide. There have been petitions at green rallys where people have signed to ban this substance. It's designed to show how dangerous it can be when people who don't know what they're talking about decide to take a stand.

All the facts on that site are true. Water takes a huge role in most dangerous reactions and situations because it's so ubiquitous in the human body and in our lives.

Btw "accidental inhalation", which is the biggest way that DHMO kills, means drowning :p

Penn and Teller did this on an episode of their show, Bulls**t! It was great - so many people signed the petition to "protect us" from this horrible chemical. They really baited the people, telling them it's found in baby food and such. I laughed so hard I cried.

Want to have even more fun? Rant about it at work and see how many co-workers you can get to fall for it!

Aw Capuchin, why'd you go and take all the fun out of it.

You will die if you breathe it, though.

You breathe it every day... nobody's dead yet.

How do you manage to avoid breathing water, Emland?

There's nothing fun about the silent killer.

I thought I was going to have more fun with this question, but it really shows that there are some experts here. Di = 2, mono = 1, Di Hydrogen or two hydrogen = H2, monooxide = 1 oxygen or O = H2O. Pure, everyday water.

You do have to remember that too much water is bad for you too. You drown.

Of course I knew the answer.
