    how do i solve these equations

    then I have to solve for

    here's a secret:

    Whatever you do to one side, you must do to the other side.


    So let's rearrange in terms of r:



    we need to move the g, the t and the m over, let's move the g first. So we see that g is on the top, so we need to add a g on the bottom. divide both sides by g:



    now we do the same with the t. divide both sides by t:



    now we need to move the m, we see it's on the bottom so we need to multiply both sides by m:



    now we simplify:





    does that make sense?
