How to give a aprent back rights
How do you give a parent back there parental rights. After the divorce is done and the non custodial parent wants back custody how to file that motion.

Did someone formally relinquish parental rights? Usually that's permanent!

Basically to change a court order you hire an atty.

Maybe if you explained the whole story, it would help us help you.

Well my ex wife came to Washington and was staying with me and my daughter and she went to the court filed a restraining order on me and I was unable to get my paperwork to show I have custody of our daughter. She lied to the judge and said the divorce was done with out children and the judge gave her my daughter. I am about to medical retire out the army and I want to give her custody and leave the state of Washington my ex is a very evil woman and I can't keep doing this with her. I am tired of fighting with her.thats why I ask how do I give her the custody back of our daughter and just walk away.

That's up to you. You can't relinquish your responsibilities and she can still sue your for child support. If you want to abandon your daughter you can just walk away.

Something doesn't make sense though. No judge is going to award custody just on someone's say so. If she claimed the divorce was done and she was awarded custody, she would have to show papers signed by a judge to prove that.

She didn't have any paperwork to show the judge went of her word only and I have to go through family advocacy to see my daughter. I have seen her in a month now. I raised her since she was 9 months old. My ex left us a number of times and once she see I was not chasing her she come back with lies and I would take her back she have tried to have me kill once to get my daughter and I had no support from the local police . I have been arrested 7 times out of the 7 1/2 years we have been together accused from rape to child molesting. I just don't know what else to do . I am tired of fighting with her. She have amental problem and she went of her meds . Her own family doesn't want anything to do with her. They testified on my behalf to get me custody of my daughter. She lost custody of her oldest to my ex father in law cause she is a bad mother. So what should I do?

I'm sorry but I don't believe that. Were you there? Do you have a copy of the transcript of the hearing? If you can prove that, then I would go to the Chief Judge's office for Family Court and report it as a breach of law and judicial rules. And demand that the judge's ruling be reversed and your daughter returned to you immediately.
