Rajguliani:
Federal taxes are the same across the country.
There is a Georgia state income tax. The tax is relatively simple to calculate, with a $920 tax levy on the first $20,000 and a flat tax of 6% for every dollar over $20,000.
There is a state sales tax of 4%, with local assessments that can raise the total sales tax up to 7%, depending on the county in which the sale occurs.
There are no city or county income taxes.
