Hello,
I have one of the anti-theft locks on my brake petal, and it is stuck in the locked position. The key turns, but the rod won't go back into the housing, so I can't remove it from the petal. Has anyone had this problem?
Thanks

Try spraying a lubricant into key opening, where rod slides into, and then try again, and maybe apply slight pressure on pedal to relieve tension, then try key again. Good Luck
That, and unlock the steering and rotate the wheel as much as possible.Quote:

If Stratmando's good suggestions fail, then the only recourse would be to get a Sawzall, and cut it out. If the shaft is hardened steel, you might have to use a cut-off wheel. Good luck.
Thanks for all the suggestions. A little WD40 did the trick. I should have thought of that!
