Even a very faint line usually means positive, however your best results for taking a pregnancy test would be about a week after your missed period, if you do miss one, using your first morning urine.

If you miss a period, wait a week, and then take a test, it would be more accurate than if you take a test before missing your period.

Sometimes tests can give inaccurate results. I say wait a week and take it again.

Do you want to be pregnant? I would say any line is a positive. Try again in a few days.

If you just got a qualatative blood test (neg/pos results) I would say yes this was still a bit early. The most accurate results you can get would be after your missed period.

**EDIT** - A qualatative blood test tells you the same thing an HPT tells you.
