My one week kitten ocationally sneazes and I has a lighter touge than the other kitten.:confused: he also is a bit heavier than the other kitten too... should I be concerned or is this normal

Respiratory infections are common for kittens. I wouldn't worry so much about the color of the tongue as I would the color of your kitties gums. If they are much lighter than the rest than he isn't getting all the oxygen it needs. Another thing my kittens have done is actually use that as a leave me alone sneeze sound if you don't smell like mom. We've noticed that with our mom cats they will smother the ones that have really poor respiratory systems. We've had this happen three times, we had four kittens born on labor day and one wasn't breathing properly and she smothered it. I can't afford vet trips for everything, so I let mom do what mom thinks is best. If your newborn kitten only sneezes when you are picking it up, then more than likely it's the silly warning spit/sneeze they do. Hope this helps.
