I wan't to be pregnant.I hope this is it.
Hello ladies... I posted earlier this week and I am back again with follow up... I ovulated on 8/22/07, had intercourse on the 23rd 24th and thereafter... on 10dpo I experienced brown/pink spotting for about 3 days no pad needed... but a liner was sufficient.. my AF was due on this tues 4th and I did get some mild cramping like 5am... I knew that AF was coming, but all I have gotten was a very, very faint hint of pink on the TP and nothing on Wed.. yesterday a little pink on and off... not even touching the liner... today nothing more that a faint hint of pink... I took one pregnancy test on tues. and got a negative... I am regular every 28days... I did make an appointment with my doctor for the 26th of this month... I am anxious to take another test before then... when should I attempt to take another and are my chances great for possible pregnancy considering the symptoms?? With my son of 9yrs, I didn't experience any symptoms of pregnancy and I never miss or have problems with my periods... it's just all like clockwork with the ovulation, implatation timeframe 10dpo... I feel that I am but not sure... I do understand that most of you aren't professionals, but I am sure someone out there can give me some input on this situation... and It is greatly appreciated... Thanks a bunch:o

To get the most accurate response you should wait one week after the missed period using first morning urine.

Good luck. I hope you get the results you want.

This happened to me too. I had a mild spotting when my period was due. A week later I took a test and found out I was pregnant. Personally if I was u I would give it another week and then take a test. Keep your appointment with your Doctor whatever the outcome. He/she will probably take a urine test or draw some blood and confirm the results. Good luck. Hope everything works out.

If your are pregnant your HcG doubles every two days, I would check again in a few days. If you are saying you were due the 4th, normally pregnancy would show up on a test... but everyone is different.

If you find out you are not in fact pregnant, it seems that you are tracking pretty well, with your cycle days, and knowing your ovulation frame, are you taking your BBT too? I would suggest doing that as well, and getting the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". It will show you how to know if you did if fact ovulate (ovulation predictor kits are just that, they only PREDICT that you should ovulate, not that you acutally do). You will find out that when your egg is release, progesterone is released, which is a heat-emitting hormone, this causes your temp to rise (thus you KNOW you ovulated)... you temp will return to normal after about 13-15 days... if your temp stays elevated 18 days, it is almost CERTAIN that you are pregnant, and you temp will remain high throughout your pregnancy.

My husband and I have been trying and this book is GREAT!!

    Good luck!

Here is the actual hCG table

    Here is the scale

    Less than 1 week pregnant = 5-50
    2 weeks = 50 - 500
    3 weeks 100 - 10,000
    4 weeks 1,000 - 30,000
    5 weeks 3,500 - 115,000
    6 - 8 weeks 12,000 - 270,000
    12 weeks 15,000 - 220,000

Thanks so much... this information has helped me a great deal... funny thing... I started checking my temps since I have heard so much on it and did it the first time on the day of my period due date... it was 98.7 then a couple of days later 98.9... took it today just because I remembered... it was 99.1 so I am thinking that this is a good sign... :D

Thanks... I was thinking that I should do that since it was that long when I found out about my son... I was due for AF on Oct. 30th 31st and found out I was pregnant on Nov. 7th... so that does sound about right... Thanks again... I'll keep you all posted!! Enjoy the rest of the weekend.:D

Thank for your reply... I pray that this is it... I really feel that it is since I have never had this happen before... plus everything fell right in line... so I will have high hopes... if it isn't... we'll just try it all over again... :D

One other question on the BBT tracking... will your body feel warm too... I experience it at night and throughout the day where I find myself wearing very little clothing around the house cause I feel extremely warm... I drink lots of cold water to keep myself cool... I thought I was going nuts especially when I have the fan running and I am still feeling warm... LOL! This just recently started about 2 weeks ago... :p

It kind of depends on the person. Some people are more "in tune" with their bodies. I, for one, usually always know when my temp had risen, thus when I have ovulated, because I get really warm, and overheated at night.

I can't tell you enough how much that book has helped me :) It really tells you a lot about your body! I now know that the probable cause of me and my husband not getting pregnant is that some months I don't ovulate (my temp never rose). So I will be starting on hormones that make me ovulate to help :)

    This book is great!

    Good luck!
