    In the top 30 percentile I would say. All manufacturers have produced lemons over time, Carrier/Bryant is not exempt of this.

    • First and most important is the installers and set up.
    • Secondly, it must be maintained.
    • Thirdly, at the rising cost of repairs, HVAC equipment is becoming disposable items. In other words at that 13-15 year mark they will start nickle and dimeing you to the point, a new furnace with warranties will probably become the cheaper option verses trying to keep a furnace alive from 15-20 years. By the way the expected life is 18-20.
