Just had my heart ripped out
    From a busted relationship.
Can anyone suggest some movies that do not have boy gets the girl happy endings? I don't care if the boy dies or the girl dies or if the love is forbidden by parental units or whatever. Romeo & Juliet is not an option here, something semi current please. I don't have a preference as to genre, it can be western, horror, comedy or drama. Anything that they don't ride off into the sunset & live happily ever after. I need to watch something that will help me feel better. Thanks everyone.

Why not steer clear of any type of romantic movie and instead invest in some good brainless laughs? Something like Blades of Glory, Hot Fuzz or why not pull out a movie like Swingers which is all about a guy getting over his ex?

A lot of horror movies don't end happily. I think in Final Destination 3 everyone dies... thats definitely not happy :p

The Break Up is a comedy with many funny parts, but I consider the ending sad. If you just want a film without the traditional Holywood ending, try The Jack Bull. It is not about boy/girl, but concerns a man's search for justice.

Oh "Prime" is another one where they don't end up together.

Very Bad Things has an extremely tragic (but kind of funny) ending. It's just a great movie to watch anyway.
