I'm a carrier of the disease, and one uncle and cousin have it within my family. My fiancé has a sister that has it as well. What is the likelihood that if I marry this girl my children would inherit cystic fibrosis?

No, she is not...

That is a good thing. Chances are now less that you will have a child with CF.

The chance is relatively low if both parents have it, but lower with only one parent as a carrier.

There are very much posibilities that your fiancé is a carrier
Now it is up to u
Your children might get it and be affected
There is another posiblity
The probablity of your kids to be affected is more than 50% I guess
Cz am not a geneticist
But it seems by the members carrirs in your and her families

So you better consult your geneticist

In short there are always posiblitiies of miracles , cz the 50% of your kids being with out it disease is also there
If you love her, pray and get married.God knows how to control all problems.
U can also get a prebirth check up of your fetus, to know if it is a carrier or affceted or not.ot take birth control pills.

I have worked on the problem,and I have got the result to be 25% .only there are 1/4 probability of your children to carry this disease, and this child will be a male.as this disease appears to be recessive in the fathers family and appears to be dominant in mother's family, as her sister got the disease but not she, the mother( if the person marries this girl).
I think you guys should get married,because apparently there are no problems and for more chances are to get a normal child in first chance.
