Me and my husband been trying for a baby we had intercourse the 28 through the 31 and I am do for my period the 13 and I have been having signs such as sick to my stomach for a week now and the dark spot around my nipple got bigger I been really tired and when I try to suck in my stomach it hurts really bad but I took a test yesterday the5 and it was negative but I think it was to early to tell are these signs of pregnancy?

Yes, probably too early to test positive on pregnancy test. Early (not definitive! Only presumptive) signs of pregnancy are: missed period, nausea/vomiting, fatigue, frequent urination, and breast tissue changes. Really, if you are pregnant, it's too early to test positive, so stay hopeful and wait a few weeks. Good luck!

You tested way too early! I know how hard it is to wait... but even the best of tests don't show up till three or four days before you should start.

I would test again on the 11 or 12th.

I would say that the signs may or may not be related. I know there was one month I really wanted to be pregnant and I felt all the signs. I wasn't, but got pregnant the next month.

Also, when we tried we realized we had to have sex every other day. Plus I would lay for about 30 minutes afterwards.

If you had sex between the 28th and the 31st you would not be showing symptoms of pregnancy yet, as the egg has barely even implanted.

The areola of your breast would not be darkening quite yet if it were pregnancy.

You mention sucking in your stomach. If you were pregnant, at this point in time the embryo is only about a centimeter long, so you would not be having this problem quite yet. This would not occur until around the 10th or 11th week of pregnancy in the first pregnancy, and later in subsequent pregnancies.

I would wait until you miss your period to test, using first morning urine, when you are about one week late.
