How do you lighten dark hair?

You usually go to the hairdresser and she uses a formula and dies your hair and then puts the colour you want but that's pretty expensive
If you want to do it on your own you got to choose lighter colour don't choose blond though it won't work and every time you die it lightin it and it would work

Don't put light colour right away (such as blonde)

If you don't want to dye it because it damages hair, spray coconut oil (not sun tan lotion) in your hair and let the sun work at it. This is the natural way that all the surfer girls let their hair get golden. But the more concentrated the coconut oil the faster your hair gets lighter.
