It may be too late for prosecution depending on how long ago it happened, the nature of the abuse, and the "statute of limitations' for that offense in your state

I know the limatations are not up because there is no limatation in child abuse, the thing I am woried about is I only remember very few episodes.

Your larger problem will be convincing a states attorney to prosecute. They won't go after someone unless they are fairly certain they can prevail. What state and county are you in?

You can call the Gilmer Co. Sheriff's office and tell them what happened. They will not deny your claim but will refer it to the County States Attorney who will make a decision.

OK thank you, so it dosen't mean he will be arrested for the crime. He is around children now that is why I am wanting to do something, but then on the other hand I am scared because he is a violent man. Who knows what he may do, and I have a family of my own now and I want them to be safe.

Call a child and family services office, child advocate office, or police or RCMP office near you.
