I was adopted when I was 3 weeks old. Ive been thinking a lot lately about finding my biological parents or at least my biological mother. I don't have a lot of information about them. I was just wondering where do I start?

First off, how old are you? Until you reach the age of 18 a lot of the information you are seeking can not be given to you. And even after the age of 18 on a sealed adoption, you will not be able to obtain the info. Sorry ,but we are unable to help if it is a sealed adoption. Do you know the names of your biological parents? If so there are searches you can do on the internet to try and find them. But don't be surprised if you have a full name and enter it into the search field and it comes up 1-25 of 567, or something like that. I have a rather odd name I would think, and yet there are many people in the u.s. with my same FULL name. (now we know why social security numbers are hear, I guess).

There are a number of websites where adoptees and bio parents can register their desires to be reunited. Try those.

A good start is talking to your parents, they often know info about your adoption that was not public.
