HI,
My natural colour is brown, I've been to the hair dressers for highlights twice but they never do enough. I tried to lighten my hair myself with a blond dye and now I have really blond roots and brown ends. How do I fade the colour dastically? Help!!

My question to you is why would you want to?

I find brunettes a lot more attractive than other colors, can't imagine why you'd want to change :)

Artificial hair color gradually fades each time you shampoo your hair. You can use clarifying shampoos, dandruff shampoos or dish detergent to fade hair color faster. However, this will not drastically fade the color. If you want to go more than 3 shades lighter, you will need to lighten your hair with bleach and then apply the desired color. Anything other than that will result in an unpleasant color. It's best to go to the salon and have them do a corrective color.
