How will court decide in joint tenancy mutual fund
It has my ss # on it and I am having a hard time determining whose money opened this mutual fund. Ownership can go to either tenant I'm told. BUT I'M SURE THE MONEY IS FROM THE OTHER ACCOUNT HOLDER, NOT ME. There is no personal signature on the cashiers check that opened the account. Having trouble contacting the original bank to see who signed the check. The original bank where it was opened has been overtaken by my curent bank... which has summoned me for a closed credit card. My case management court date is soon ! No other funds at all and no job. WILL BANKRUPTCY QUESTION WHO OWNS THE FUND?

If its joint tenancy, then both tenants own it. This also means that a creditor could attach it.
