    Executor and sister using father
Recently my brother was made executor after my mother's passing. He and my sister are always in financial need.My father 83 recently co-signed for sister's car and apartment not mention paying off her mortgage back payments. My brothers wife is always ill and needs name brand prescriptions for her recently removed gall bladder. After taking over as executor he decided to also take charge of my fathers checking account since my father cannot since then there have been multiple transactions some in one day.My father still lives in his house alone and his taken good care of by my niece not my brother and sister. They will not take him to get necessities, prescriptions, etc.but when they need something. What can we (me and 2 other sisters)do to see what is owed to my father because my sister did call her borrowing a loan and my brother was taken in by the role of executor "Maybe he thinks it's money he can use at his own leisure".

Was your mom's will probabted? If not, you need to go to probate court and get the will probated so you can get an accounting of the estate.

Your brother also cannot take chanrge of your dad's bank account without a power of attorney granted by your father. But if it granted that under duress or without being mentally competent its invalid.
