Our outside unit is not coming on, but the blower fan inside the house is running. Is it time to consult a repairman?
Check the fuses outside and the circuit breaker inside. If no problem there you may have to call for service.
Yes you need help...
1. go to the thermostat turn it off and then back on to see if it works and unit starts.
2. go to the outside unit and make sure that you have power from the box to the unit (beware) 208-230v is there.
3. check to see if there is voltage at contactor.
4. see if voltage is leaving contactor... then get back to me with answers... There is a troubleshooting procedure to follow... if this helps rate... it.
