    Who's responsible?
I had braces removed after wearing them for several years in high school. After there removal my orth gave me a removable top retainer and a permanent bottom retainer. After a period my ortho clipped the ends of my permanent retainer making it not connect to all my front, bottom teeth. Soon after they went crooked and I had to get braces back on to fix the damage. After there removal my ortho put back on the permanent retainer but failed to connect it to the problem teeth. So for the third time my teeth have gone crooked making my bite uncomfortable and visibly crooked. My question should it be the orthos responsibility to fix the damage?

Does the bottom retainer not have a wire that connects to the bottom front six teeth? Here in Canada these are the teeth that are usually cemented with a wire for permanent retention on the bottom and on the top it's usually the front 4 teeth (sometimes 6).
