Not sure what to call this.
Good Day ladies, I will get straight to the point... Wed. Aug 8th was the 1st day of my cycle... on Aug. 22nd was the day I felt my ovulation with cramping on my left side for about and hour... My boyfriend and I had intercourse on the day after ovulation and days after that... I started getting a brown discharge on 10dpo and my period is due today... the brown spotting lasted up until yesterday and my boyfriend and I had intercourse last night... I was thinking that my period would come on full blast since I did get a BFN yesterday, I haven't had any more discharge since yesterday other than a very very faint pink... Is there any chance that I may be pregnant or just had an early period... ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated... Thanks

You could still be pregnant. Most women won't register positive on a hpt until 7-10 days late. Wait a week, and if you haven't gotten your period take another test. If that one is still negative you can either wait another week to test or head to the doctor and ask for a blood test.

Hello Automansgirl, I am still having concerns... I did go to my family practitioner on Tuesday the 11th for a blood test since I don't have an appointment with my ob/gyn until the 26th... that too came up negative... I am having headaches every day now and still experiencing mild cramping... with my son, I had no symptoms of pregnancy until I was not able to fit my clothes properly around three months... I get some shooting pain and aching around the area near my armpits in my boobs every so often but they aren't tender... they look a little bigger, but not too sure... I am ready for bed much earlier than normal... I just want to be sure of whether I am or not cause I take medications for my heart daily but I haven't since I noticed this change.. I have been taking prenatals for 6 months now.. It all seems to fall in place and I was sure that the blood test would have picked up some HCG by then... today I am 10 days late of my period and am really not convinced that I am not pregnant... I guess because I had the brown discharge on 10dpo, light pink on tp around the 5th and 6th... then nothing... this just isn't normal for me and I have had a regular 28 day menstrual up until now... Anyhow, I just wanted to follow up with you... maybe at my doctors visit in a couple of weeks, there will be some news otherwise, should I give up on thinking that there may be a pregnancy or see what happens in October... there is a due date of 10/4 I think for my next menstrual..? Thanks a bunch for your time again... :D

You could be pregnant. I'm currently pregnant and before I found out I had cramping in my right side for a few days, but I was told to wait about 10 days after intercourse to do a test because the hormones won't show. And the test would show negative, when in fact its positive.
    Good look :)

You could still be pregnant. There are two different blood tests that doctors do, qualitative and quantitative. I can never remember which is which, but one tests the amount of hcg and the other only gives a positive or negative result. There still may not have been enough hormone in your system to show a positive. I would say you could probably test again any of the next 4 days. Make sure you use first morning urine. It sounds like pregnancy to me, but I'm not a doctor. I did miss a period for no reason, and was very regular, so that's still a possibility. I had to be put on meds to start my cycle back up, and finally got pregnant 3 months later. I don't want to discourage you, but just know that if you aren't pregnant it will happen for you. Keep us updated on how things go. I'm rooting for you!
