HI... I got a problem on my PC... When I try to press Task Manager on Taskbar, it show grey colour and when I try pressing ctrl+alt+del it say something like Task Manager has been disabled by administrator. How can I restore ti back?:confused:

If you are using Windows XP Professional,
Using Group Policy Editor to fix this issue

Click Start, Run, type gpedit.msc and click OK.
For the Task Manager Disabled part:
Navigate to this path
User Configuration
=> Administrative Templates
==> System
===> Ctrl+Alt+Delete Options
====> Remove Task Manager
Double-click the Remove Task Manager option.
Set the policy to Not Configured or Disabled.

If you are using Windows XP Home Edition,
Using Registry Editor
Click Start and type regedit in the Start Search dialog box and click OK.

Navigate to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Policies\System]
In the right pane, delete the DWORD value "DisableTaskMgr"

Log off for the changes to take effect
