I have a 16 hp briggs and stratton engine.. riding mower... I have put new parts on it and still no fire from the sparkplugs... any advise please?. thanks a lot.:confused:

What parts have you replaced and what was the reason for changing those parts? Have you tested your ignition switch?

A good place to start would be : symptoms before the beginning of the repairs. Could have been something simple and inexpensive, that has turned into something expensive. We will try and help you.

Hey Bounce, I'm back. So you replaced the iginition coil and the plugs but did you confirm 12 volts going to the coil? You told me off line you hot wired past the ignition switch. Where did you put your hot led on the coil?

Depending on the on the mower I've found that a lot of times it's one of the safety or cutoff switch's, witch will kill spark
