    Trying to conceive
My husband and I have been trying to conceive for the past 6 months to no avail... we have been using ovulation tests for the past 2 months and still nothing. I had an abortion 10 years ago and am deeply concerned that I may have damaged my insides and that this is why we can not conceive... has anybody had an experience like this before?

I honestly don't think the abortion would keep you from conceiving. Remember, it takes most healthy couples up to a year before conceiving. Have you seen your doctor for a check up? I find that OPKs are a bit stressful, if you know that you are ovulating each month then my advice is to throw out the OPKs and have intercourse every other day throughout your cycle. Stress also plays a huge role when trying to conceive; practice stress management and relaxation methods. A lot of people try to conceive for so long and it is usually when the stop and give up that it happens! Good luck and relax.
