    Michigan court's
Now this is what I think's ty my husband has a little girl in Michigan who is 10 his ex wife took his daughter and moved not telling him where she is not giving him a number well he call'ed his case worker on there case and told her what was going on and he's case worker told him to file a compliant against her so we did over and over again did it do any good "NO" dose he still get to see or talk to his daughter"NO" and when he call'ed her back today she told him he would have to file a motion my god why didn't she tell him that I think it's pretty ty she can keep his daughter from him and the court's won't do nothing about it they want him to file a motion after he told them he didn't have the money right now because he used it all going up there 4 time's trying to see his daughter so why can the other parent get away with doing what ever they want to the child because yes it's hurting my husband not to be able to see his daughter but it's hurting his daughter more because she love's her daddy... Are court's are so 'ed up oh you and it's 7 hour's up there and 7 hour's back and it cost us $200 in gas just to go up there that's not counting the gas it cost us coming back home and we did it for 4 day's... Something has to be done parent's are getting way out of control when it come's to shareing...

Please, when posting a question try to be careful about spelling and grammar. The harder you make it to read and understand your question, the less response you will get.

As far as I can determine your husband's ex moved far away from him without notifying him. And you want to know what to do about it.

Unfortunately you left out or didn't make clear some pertinent info. What is the custody arrangement between them? Was their any court ordered visitation for your husband? Did she move to another state or just further away within Michigan?

The key here is the visitation rights. If your husband has court ordered visitation and she moved far anough away that he can't exercise his visitation rights, then she is in violation of a court order. He needs to petition the court to have her cited as being in contempt of court.

If the ex refuses to move back so he can have visitation restored, then he has to petition the court to gain physical custody of the child. If he wins that, he can show up where she lives now, with a police officer to enforce the custody order.
