Is it wrong to want to end things with a friend cause you feel like your falling for
This girl is like my best friend and I've known her 4 about 3 yrs. I asked her out before but she said she "just wants to be friends". It was like the worse feeling ever and it almost messed up our friendship.we were all awkward around each other 4 about a week. And know I'm liking her again and I can't help it. I want to tell her but I don't want to feel like that again, plus she's going out with someone.but I can't help but like her even more every time I c her smile... so I think I should end this before things ge 2 complecated.

    d-nice,
I wouldn't just end it, see the way she feels about you. If she gives you the "just a friend" speech, suck it up and tell her how you really feel. Let her know that every time you c her smile you fall deeper. Also that you can't just be her friend. It would be terrible to lose a good friend over this. If she doesn't feel the same way about you, try to get over her and be the friend she needs. If your feelings are really strong for her, are you really willing to lose her, even as a friend. Wouldn't you rather have her as a friend than not to have her at all. You never know what will happen in the future, just because she doesn't have feelings for you right now, doesn't mean she'll never have feelings for you, it may change. Good things come to those who wait. Who knows, you may fall in love with someone else in the meantime and realize it was just she was just crush.

I wouldn't end it, just yet. I was in a similar situation and now it has blossomed into one of the best friendships I have ever had. You want to cherish every friendship you get, never take it for granted. It's hard when you start falling for friends, but it is something that is beyond our control.

This thread is 3 years old. I have a hunch the decision has been made.
