I have a 99 Buick which just died and I want to remove the automatic car starter from it to put in the 02 Nissan Maxima I just purchased. Can anyone offer suggestions on how to safely remove it?

There are multiple components involved with a remote start system. Integration to any vehicle is quite involved. If all componenets aren't removed and properly transferred, both cars could be rendered useless.Quote:

Hi~ I too need the same thing done, I just called best buy knowing they install these things. They will uninstall it professionally for $60.
That's what I say! Hopefully it will in fact make the car work again! Either way I want it out of there though.. they apparently are nototrious for malfunctions in cars.
