We just bought a new sony 50" lcd projection, and what I'm trying to do is hook up my 360 to my bose cinemate, what happening right now is it works while I'm watching TV but when I play a game I don't have surround sound. Any ideas

Ok first we have to ask a few questions. Does the cinemate work for regular televison? Is the cinemate connected to the TV or a cable box? What type of audio connection is running to the TV from your 360 (optical, digital coax, or RCA- red and white)?

Hey thanks for asking, it was connected to the cable box hd but id only get surround from the cable TV not the 360 or when wed watch dvd or anything else that wasn't TV,
I messed around for a few days and figured it out, however I really don't know what I did other than change some settings on the TV, but it works now,
