If he does should I talk to him?
Then should I continue and see what happens?

No, you don't know what sort of person he is. Meetig people online is not the best thing.

Hello.

He already has your phone number so why not talk to him. Just keep your mind clear on the fact he might not be who he says he is in real life. A Bad Guy isn't going to tell you he is a Bad Guy now is he??

IN the future do not give out your phone number to anyone on line until you feel 110% comfortable about doing it.

He may be a genuinly nice person but then again he may not

My uncle lived in Oklahoma
And met his now wife over the internet
And she lived in California.
They have been together for about seven years now.
Id say go for it.

I'd say go for it. If you hadn't already given him your cell phone number, I would say make sure you chat with him for a while and get to know him before you give him your number, but I really don't see too much harm in that. I've met some really great people online, and I've talked to quite a few of them on the phone. I even met a few of them in person.

Everyone else is right to caution you, but don't think that everyone on the internet is pretending to be someone else. Just make sure you get to know them first, and be as safe as you can.
