TV Make and Model? Location of manual on Internet? Give us something to go on.

Without anything to go on, check that SAP (Second Audio Program) isn't selected.

I have a 25" Toshiba with a tube. Model 32A15. I have already tried the SAP. This does not change anything. I can put a DVD in the player and the sound is normal. I can try on all regular channels, no sound. Not even if I try to view stations through the VCR, still no sound. ONLY while watching a DVD or VHS.

    From the manual p 32:

    No sound, picture OK
    • The sound may be muted. Press VOLUME.
    • The station may have broadcast difficulties. Try another channel.
    • The MTS feature may be in SAP mode. Press the MTS button on the
Remote control until STEREO (or MONO) mode is active.

If it's in SAP mode, the word "SAP" appears on the screen at power-up or when you change channels.
