My husband and I bought a mobile home 5 years ago from clayton homes, since buying the home we have had nothing but problems with vanderbilt mortgage with them calling us saying that we are late on payments when were not. I done a search on the net on them " vanderbilt mortgage" and found a site called ripoffreport.com. While being on this site I read about and seen that there are other people that have the same mortgage company as we do that have the same problems and more. My question is... how does one put a stop to a mortgage company calling you and being so rude to you on the phone? And is there any way that we could get out of this mortgage ?

You can go to another lender borrow the money and pay them off.

Also some companies post payments several days after receiving them, thus making you late. I would send all payments so that you have proof of delivery, and keep very detailed records.k
